Study wrap up

At the end of the study, the COMET Study Model final Iteration will be frozen, usually just before or at the Internal Final Presentation (IFP). Once the model is frozen there should not be any further changes made to it. If it is discovered that there is an issue with some equipment or Parameter Values after the model is frozen, please discuss this with the Systems team, DO NOT change values alone.

The end of the study is also a good time to check what equipment was created for the study. Any Element Definition that could be reused in a future study should be copied back into the catalogue (in the same way equipment was copied from the catalogue to the model) to make it easier in the future to use the Element Definition again. It is each domain’s responsibility to maintain their catalogue and ensure that the equipment contained within it is up to date and useful.
